How it works
You can start by either posting a job or searching available jobs.
For clients
1. Post your job
Name the job, choose the locality and category, set a fixed price or hourly rate, the duration and a deadline for proposals.
2. Review proposals
Photographers reply with a bid price, timeline and cover letter. Open their profiles to see specialties, portfolio and reviews.
3. Hire
Accept the proposal you like — the job is awarded, the other applicants are notified and a first milestone is created.
4. Pay & review
Record payments against milestones, mark the job completed and leave an honest review.
For photographers
1. Build your profile
Add a headline, bio, specialties, skills, hourly rate, certificate programs and your locality.
2. Add photographs
List portfolio pieces so clients can see your style.
3. Find work
Browse jobs by Region → Country → State/Province → City, category and pay type, and send proposals.
4. Get hired & paid
When a client accepts, you’ll get a message. Track milestones and recorded payments, then review the client.
Questions
Does it cost anything to post a job?
No. Posting a job and receiving proposals is free.
How are payments handled?
Clients and photographers agree milestones on the job page. SnapShot Jobs records each payment you make — it does not process money itself.
What does the Locality selector do?
Every job has a locality: Region, Country, State/Province and City. Choose each in turn; pick “StateWide” when the job covers a whole state or province. Photographers filter jobs the same way.
Who can leave reviews?
Only the client and the hired photographer, and only after the job is marked completed.
